A couple from Albany, Texas, is warm and safe in Jackson after spending an unexpected 25 hours in the cold and wet Gros Ventre range, where they got lost on their rented snowmobiles Wednesday night.

Two local Jackson skiers were rescued out of Granite Canyon Thursday morning after they got lost in the out-of-bounds area of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and were forced to spend the night in single digit temperatures, a spokeswoman for the Grand Teton National Park said.
