22Local is a hylerlocal news Web site covering Teton County, Wyoming. Our staff consists of one full-time editor and one part-time, co-editor/reporter. We also have a large group of contributing columnists, who write about local events and trends and give advice and opinions on everything from health and fitness to money and education.

The editor of 22Local reviews and posts only well researched and relevant news stories that are timely and of interest to our local audience. The articles are thoroughly reviewed and edited by the editor before the are posted to the site. We strive to use only verified sources and attributions, and will hold a story until we are sure all facts are correct. We welcome feedback form our readers and promptly correct any factual errors as we become aware of them.

22Local also encourages and accepts “citizen” news stories and first-hand accounts of local events. However, each submission must also be put through the strict editorial review process as spelled out here:

Step 1:  Submissions are presented to the Editor, who does the initial review for content and accuracy.

Step 2 :  If the Editor approves the submission, it is then edited if necessary and prepared for publication.
