Local canine advocates are reaching out on behalf of a special request from the Rock Springs Humane Society. Staff and members of PAWS began distributing email requests yesterday to spread the word about a dog in the Rock Springs shelter that is scheduled to be euthanized on Friday.

The adoptable pup is described as a 5 year-old golden retriever mix, with a great temperament and no known health problems. Staff from the Rock Springs shelter added,” the dog needs to lose some weight, but “would love to run an play to keep his figure in tune.”
